Q-Tip is probably the most underappreciated dude in rap history. He used to get lots of kudos when ATCQ was Outkast, but he's just been overlooked for awhile. It's especially baffling since his solo stuff was pretty much the future, only 5-10 years early. It's just a shame he only has the 3 solos and some scattered beats post-ATCQ.

I saw Team Sesh last night and I don't think I've ever been to a show with a more unruly audience. They stopped the show twice and made Ethelwulf ask the crowd to calm down which he obviously felt super awkward about. Also Bones was wearing a NASCAR onesie and metal-screams all of his verses and I got to meet him after the show, he's an all-around sick and nice dude.

Shabazz Palaces album leaked. Not sure if I'm liking it as much as Black Up though. It feels like they overdid the vocal effects and reverb on this one; it makes the whole album sound really hazy and muddy.

I know it wasn't too popular here and it's a pretty standard album, all told, but I really like Ab-Soul's newest. The beats sound good and Ab's entertaining enough. Mac Miller is a decent producer, too.
