Which elicited an addendum to my response. A weirdly long one lol  The first one was cool, it folds, it was full of Halloween things. Enough to creep out a Serbian waitress lol. True story.

I'm really bad about calling out the sweet goonmail I've gotten, thanks to DLAO, Ulillinguist, and Sharizard! I'm finally moving back into my house, so you can send mail to 3206 Damascus Way Farmers Branch, TX 75234 again and take the Richardson address off the list. I should remember to put in a mail forward order; hopefully that goes better than the temporary one I put in back in April.

YAAAYYYYY I'm so glad you liked it!  I'm currently working on making an inventory of greeting cards to either sell on Etsy or at a local book store. If making and selling cards can make money, I would love to do that for a side gig, it brings me a lot of joy to create and mail them out to all of you.  I like to put on my Youtube channels, get out the glue sticks, and get in the zone and CRAFT!

 Letters were mailed out 11/29/25 to: Chernobyl Princess Vortmax  Poo In An Alleyway, the letter I said I mailed to you has been returned for being too thick. I will have to mail it in a bubble mailer when the post office opens again.Edit: A small bubble mailer has been sent to Poo In An Alleyway. I've learned my lesson about mailing thick letters out of the USA - the system hates non-machinable letters with postage stamps. They want you to use the post office to print out the shipping cost.

My xmas got kindaaa abruptly cancelled so I thought I’d sign back up for the holidays and add myself to the goonlist! I’ll be tossing some of my sticker collection into the xmas cards I send out, so if anyone has an especial love for Stardew Valley let me know

This seems a good time to mention a) my kids love Stardew and b) I am getting about a dozen cards out for Christmas, after a year of being very slow with goonmail! I am way way behind on posting what I got and sending things out, but there are cards on the way! I have to go by the post office tomorrow to send out packages, and the international cards will go out as well. The domestic ones will hopefully be ready too, if work doesn't get too busy, otherwise it'll be another day. The messages will be pretty simple, but it's the thought that counts, right?

I went to the USPS kiosk thinking to get nice postcard stamps but ended up with barcodes that function as stamps. Despite this, I'll be sending out some postcards, but apologies for the stamps without personality.

I've received several cards in recent days. They are all on the string with the other holiday cards. I'll check who sent them, because my memory is now tarp as a shack and I can't remember off the top of my head who sent me all the greetings. Until I check them and thank you all personally, if you sent me a card, please know that we appreciated them, and that Mrs. Genesplicer is currently working on a spate of new cards to send out. (This is a big deal, because she has been having motor difficulties ever since her surgery. Now that we are retired, she has time to rest and recover, and she's getting better. It is a slow process. We are getting there.)

I went back to my old apartment and found a bunch of letters that hadn't been forwarded to my new address. I was blown away by goon mail!  Thank you Kafkas Goldfish for the letter - I adored the wax sealed tag - I removed it from the letter very carefully. The washi tape you used on the envelope and the address stamp are so pretty!  Thank you Vortmax for the gnome Christmas card! I have it hanging up near my computer to cheer me up!  Thank you Abyss for the fox water-color-art postcard, its so cute and I love the green fountain ink you used! I bought myself a fountain pen for Christmas this year, I'm just starting to get the hang of it.  Thank you Dawncloack for the 6 page letter and postcards! Wow! I had so much fun reading everything, the post cards were such a treat - I really want to see the old imperial palace museum!  I've already starting crafting new cards to send to all of you and will try to reply soon! I even got new washi tape and rubber stamps from my something awful secret Santa to use!  My Tuesday was very much lightened up by two letters! Dear Lamb that's such a lovely hanger! True story, my kid saw it and he started crying when it was explained to him that it wasnt a present from his grandparents. Dear Treebucket! Thank you too! I love your symmetry tool now, and it was very welcome since we are under a blanket of snow.

After a weird period in my life, we all have those and mine was about cross stitching, I picked up my pile of mail and found that the one on top, the oldest, is from March 2025. My sincere apologies, I will do better in 2026. To all who send me mail in 2025: you will receive a reply. To all who joined the thread in 2025: you will receive mail from the Netherlands. All in order of arrival. In fact I thought a lot about sending out my cross stitch results to the internet but... - I could not find patterns small enough to make sense to mail out - a small pattern, only a few dozen stitches... I dunno, it doesn't make sense to me. So unless the entire thread is now demanding I stitch up tiny animals (or something) and mail them out, I'll use this wonderful correspondence set Sinterklaas gave me.

I haven't tried any yet, but there are a bunch of free small patterns here. Most of them are about 10cm x 10cm (4" x 4") on 14ct aida. EDIT: The {insert winter holiday of choice} card I sent to DLAO was returned as USPS posted:RETURN TO SENDER Sorry DLAO
