So happy to see this is up! You're amazing Lamb! [removed] I'm a 21 year old goonlady. Artsy/nerdy type. I love handmade stuff, and the more creative the better, though anything else is awesome too. NWS stuff is fine, just try to keep it inside the envelope. Please no bodily fluids/items. I can't tell you just how amazing it was receiving anything from the goons in the valentines day thread. And I had so much fun making the cards too, I hope to be able to do that again sometime soon, though as money is a bit tight it might actually be a little while before I'm able to start sending things out, but rest assured I most definitely will. I have my own template that I made awhile back, and it's not about the materials so much as the cost to actually send it. That and the time it takes to make one. I sew them by hand and it can take up to eight hours to make one.

Thanks so much Team Lunch! It was a great start to my day to get some goon mail. Definitely needed that. And that paperclip is so awesome. As for the octopus facts they're all true to my knowledge, there was only one that you had written on there that I hadn't previously known about. Thanks again! Money is a bit better for me now so I hope to be sending stuff out to people as soon as I can figure out just what to do for you guys.

Ok so I know I said I was going to send mine out awhile ago. I still have my list written down and all my supplies. I've been in quite the funk lately so all my drive to do much of anything has pretty much disappeared. And on top of that I think the postal strike is turning into something a bit more serious instead of the revolving one like they had before. Here's hoping I can break out of this depression just long enough to get working on some of your cards. As for when I send them, well that's up to the postal strike I guess. So sorry again, but they will be coming.

A whole ton of people to thank. I'm a bit behind so I'll start with which I received first. For the gorgeous card, thank you cuntvalet So many stickers from whenworldscollide! Little fabric snow fell everywhere as I was checking who to thank. *shakes fist lovingly at Apathy Inspired* Another pretty card this time from Aunt Buck Have a great christmas nonpromqueen! Yay! Oh man I wish I had remembered to put my birthday (December 13th) but with the amount of goonmail I've received I can't complain. Now on to the thank you's! Some local mail from caramelbread, a recipe card from Miryei, and a card from Team Lunch (yes I think Batman is very festive)! And man oh man. This morning there was a small bulgy envelope addressed to cardboardRobot in the mail! Inside I found an amazing octopus card as well as a finger tentacle from Andrew "Garbage Day" Miller. I could not stop smiling! Pictures to come most definitely! I think I'll take a picture of all the goonmail I've gotten from the entire year starting from the valentine's day thread. I can't thank everyone enough for all the joy it's been to find goonmail in my mailbox. For the past year I've been eagerly checking the mail every day. I hope the goonmail doesn't stop!

So the other day I bought an extreme connect the dots book. If I can manage to get a scanner that works better than the one I have I plan on photocopying the pages so I can send a bunch to people instead of being limited to the amount of pages it comes with. That means more for everyone. Hope people don't mind. So would people be up for connecting 500-1400 dots and discovering what the picture is?

Says so right on the cover "Extreme Dot-To-Dot ________ Edition" Leaving that blank so as to keep it a surprise for the first few to do them. I've already scanned a couple and did them myself haha. It took me about fifteen minutes or so to finish one that was about 500 dots. People will definitely have to scan theirs once they're done and if people colour them then even better! I look forward to getting your mail Thermophonic Joy. As well as from everyone else. For the last year I've been eagerly checking the mailbox every day. I'll try taking a picture sometime soon of all the mail I've gotten from the past year. I hope this new year is filled with just as much goony love. I can't wait to get my next batch of mail together. I plan on starting that sometime soon. If anyone is particularly keen on getting an extreme connect the dot make sure to mention it to be sure I send you something. I can only afford to send so many at a time and it really is hard to choose who to send to so if you love doing those be sure to let me know! I will also take requests if there's anything you'd like me to take a crack at drawing for you. If I can't do it I'll try and figure something out. I've been lacking ideas for what to draw lately.

Alright so I said I'd post a picture of all the mail I've received over the last year starting from the valentine's thread that spawned this one. On the left is from the valentine's thread, and to the right is everything from this thread. You guys are awesome! In front is the finger tentacle that Garbage Day sent me. Another goon made me the squid and mittens separate from any mail thread but I figured I'd add those in as well as they are still technically goon mail.  You guys are the best!

Holy crap. I'm so surprised that I even got Thermophonic Joy's card at all. I couldn't believe the state it was in when I opened the mailbox! Looked like someone had already opened it, that or it just went through a hell of a lot before getting here. The envelope is hardly intact and only about 30% of it is still sealed. I didn't need to open it to see what was inside. Thank you Thermophonic Joy. I can only hope that nothing was missing when I got it.

I was productive with my insomnia for a change. I just spent the last couple of hours or so folding things. You know what that means!  I'm hoping to get my valentines cards together and out by the end of the week. Hopefully sooner. Now I know I told you guys about those extreme connect the dots, well I think I'm going to wait to send those out. So those will most likely go out in my next batch of cards which won't be holiday related. But don't worry. Those that already said they wanted one will still get theirs (I've written your names down). It just means more mail to look forward to later! If anyone else hasn't piped up about wanting one do so now so I can add you to the list for the future.

I went to go send out my cards today but they were slightly too thick to get regular postage. I can't really afford to spend that much on postage so I had to take out the little chocolates that I was going to send everyone. They were chocolate orange sticks that are super delicious. I just wish I could have kept those in for everyone. So I came home all depressed and had to open them all up and put them in new envelopes.  I'm going to have to go back to the post office later tonight if they're still open and hope hope hope they're thin enough now. It's expensive enough as is sending out 19 cards. And I spent so long handmaking them too.

I went back after taking stuff out of the envelopes and they said it was still too thick for the regular postage.  Looks like I'm going to have to spend a lot more on my valentines than I had planned. This is going to be at least 30 to send....Ugh stupid post office with their strict rules. I'm going to redo the envelopes yet again and stick the chocolates back in. If they're going to make me pay more for it I might as well make the most of it.
