I played this game over 20 times and only recently did I realise that in the lift, the floors are marked with greek letters, in addition to numbers Here you can see the letter mu, but when you use the elevator it changes to zeta IIRC. There's a couple more in other lifts in the game (spoilers, there are other lifts in the game).

This LP is great, and of my favourite game of all time. I had to replay it recently. This might sound pretty lame, but I got really upset when Snape kills Dumbledore. (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

Though if you really had the patience you could get a thief enemy to steal such an item from you, then kill it to receive it during the battle, so it would be theoretically doable with anything (I don't think theres any limitations as to what they can steal).
