Well i just binged this from the end of the anime to the current chapter. I had caught up to it before way back when the anime originally aired but only up to where the military/political stuff with the royal family was starting. Anyway i didn't remember much and it's a lot better than I remember it being. One question, I don't really understand how Ymir turned back into a human after being a titan. I get she ate someone with titan powers, but who?

How do they know when a baby has a titan power. What if they just never find it. Theres a lot of babies to check and how do they even check it. What if the baby is born on the island instead of in Marley? I guess this hasn't been an issue for so many years because they've kept control of the powers by having them get eaten instead of just dying.

So I just caught up with the manga after not following it for a year and I'm not gonna lie, I got really confused in that scene where Eren picked up the ship as it approached the island because I thought his devil fruit powers shouldn't work in water
