DrBouvenstein posted:Jesus, another reason I'm glad I use Playstation. It has very small, text only ads, in the upper right corner that are very easy to ignore. Until you open the store. The PSN store is full of them. Most are for things available from it and the 360's ads are no different. The new dashboard isn't too bad. The ads are fairly unobtrusive for the most part.

Taco Bell/KFCs seem to be popular in the malls here in Canada. Same with Orange Julius/Dairy Queen.

You'd think all those millions you paid Square for the exclusive Final Fantasy XIII-2 commercial would have come with the stipulation that it should be all 360 footage, but nope, there are the PS3 buttons, right there in the lower-right corner. The trailer is one provided by Square-Enix. Same one that's in the demo for either platform.

It's only a couple of inches difference just touch your drat phone. It's the Samsung Galaxy S4 and I can sort of see the point. It's not about germaphobes, it's simply about keeping the screen as clean as possible and not moving the phone as much since that's how accidents happen and they're easy to break. Like, say, you get a call when eating or doing dirty work you can answer the phone without having to wash the screen later. Now the video playback where it pauses if you look away is an extremely handy feature for commuters. I agree that the commercials are loving annoying though.

If skim cheddar/American tastes awful to you, stay the hell away from skim Swiss. It tastes like really weak cream cheese (and has a texture somewhere inbetween Kraft singles and cream.)
