I've been seeing this ad for a stupid beer delivery service on youtube lately and what really strikes me is how they're already out of beer, and the guy's friend is clearly into this potential beer run, but this dude just shuts him down to use his dumb phone app and get beer "less than an hour later" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-AGQO9m8lg In real life the party would be dead by this point

I liked <celebrity> in <funny-ish ad> but I'm going to hate seeing it for the next 6 months every commercial break" and the grand cycle will continue on as it does every single year, and will until the NFL has withered to dust as for pokemon I imagine the overlap between pokemon fans and football fans is huge, solely because both have huge fandoms in the under 30 demo. People are going to make jokes about "ugh what football fans like pokemon" when it airs but I have to believe nintendo knows who it's going for
