I’m truly ashamed to have that at the top of the page. Anybody have recommendations for the easiest way to sell LPs online? Do people actually buy stuff on discogs? got those frank ocean singles and want to take advantage of some hypebeasts.

I really miss Reverb’s LP site. It had the best interface of any of the used record dealer sites.

I got a marriage license today.

Her Valentine present to me was the Plato 45" of The Outcasts "Loving You Sometimes."

I was griping about it being my favorite song two years ago, and then it got thrown into that Shadow mix. So I guess it's YT.

Also grabbed After Laugher Comes Tears. 45.

Otis, Cigarettes and coffee. Test press.

Loving you Sometimes. Are you loving kidding me.

Anyhow. That's how I got a marriage license today.

What's even weirder is when you run across Bandcamp only stuff in person:

It's even the white vinyl limited run and has the art postcard extra goodies in it as well. $20 just chilling in the metal section of the record store for over a year apparently.

While I anxiously await for my Ship to Shore order to come* I gave into my inner weeb some and got this too:

Plus three other Urusei Yatsura records and a fifth on the way. Now I can be happy that I have all the background music to the show in addition to my CD of all the theme songs. Here's a helpful hint from the back of the obi:

Other things not pictured include getting four Montrose records on a whim because there happened to be a good lot on eBay and I wanted the first album on something less fragile than 8 track. It's classic hard rock and Sammy Hagar singing on the first two albums if you're into that sort of thing.

*I think I hosed myself by having the Wai Wai World preorder on the same order as in stock things; I have no clue if they do partial shipments. Supposedly it's coming out relatively soon so maybe it will all work out.

Feelin' it so hard.

I spent way too much on that Fat Possum sale. Grabbed that Al Green 45's set. And then along comes Udiscover with their sale. 25% off plus free shipping and you can stack one of these codes to give you 45% off total COMEBACK, ud20off or survey2. Snagged those PJ Harvey reissues that are coming out at the end of summer for $15 each.

This is my referal link. Looks like you get $10 off an order over $50 and I think I get a credit too.

AW YEAH.

They'll insist in the promo material that this is a concept album about a long lost Blues singer from the '70s (one disc holding the Residents album which is all covers of disc 2, which holds the original demos), but what it's really about is stabbing people, either with knives or penises, dealer's choice. Even though I've been listening to these jerks since I was 13, it's always a delight to see them still managing to throw out curve balls over a 50-year career.

Speaking of bad albums I’m not spending $30 on, this lump could soon be on your turntable exactly one time.

If they released a four-track 7” with these tracks in this exact order (two per side) for $5, I’d buy six: 1 to play, 3 to give as gifts, 1 to replace the playing copy when I wear it out, and 1 to store unopened. The live track is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever heard and i would absolutely open-palm slam that on every morning

There's some serious Bruce Haack vibes here. I don't know how to feel about it. Like it's stupid but it also kinda sounds like The Electronic Record For Children.

What the gently caress? Why does one of the ghosts sound like Frank Zappa? This album is insane.

They've uploaded their entire discography to YouTube as a Mea Culpa for having to cancel the tour, it's a journey well worth taking, even if a solid 20% of it is just Pink Lady Lemonade.

Astro Infinity Discotheque's my favorite. It's so goddamn dancy:
