does anyone else feel like the weed jokes have shifted tone drastically since the move to CC? Kind of like if it took place this season, relaxing "the traditional Jamaican way" would have been with a fat blunt and a bob Marley record. Obviously the switch to cable opened up their options, but I definitely liked the older style jokes more, and they seemed to use them less. IIRC there's been one in the last 3, and I wouldn't be shocked at all if there was another tonight.

In "Space pilot 3000" we see Old New York get destroyed through the window of applied cryogenics but later in that very episode it exists below New New York.

the real lesson learned is applying logic to cartoons is bad and you should feel bad.

In "Neutopia" he melts, just to come back a second later.

In "Benderama" there's a dramatic death scene that turns out to be a ploy to catch the giant off guard. Also Bender after Bender dies in that episode in general.

In "Ghost in the Machines" in the machines he just flat out dies and coms back.

In "Silence of the Clamps" you assume he has been killed but it turns out to be someone else.

In "Law and Oracle" he appears to get shot, but it turns out he's wearing a vest.

I just find it funny that after an episode that emphasized how mortal Bender is we have a parade of consequence free Bender death.

Not to be a spergloard, but even the only actual death on that list, ghost on the machines, was already explained in the curse of the werecar.

The method of immortality from that episode is just making copies of him, which is exactly what happened in naemderama,.just with a working method for making the copies.

All right this episode needs to freaking air already.

While I'll never turn down a good space odyssey reference, I'm thinking it's one of the list cosmonauts mentioned earlier. Besides, I think I can live with only 2 of them in this episode.
