I'm gonna have to go back and read the previous 28 gun bad boy posts ITT because the darkside one was solid and the late 80s-mid 90s UK sounds were amazing and some of my favorite music of all time. Definitely waiting on the next Jungle installment!

Just finished one of my new mixes to help promote the society/night that I help run down in Exeter. Taking in a big spectrum of music - there's a whole shitload of music that isn't on there, originally I was going to do a big loving 3 hour mix but I decided to split it up into two. This one's the more 'party' vibe mix - I tried not to be too deep and obscure on this one, because at the end of the day it is promoting a party night for students.

I cant take hypes remix of ready or not seriously though in year 8 that was the song that got put on whenever the it teacher went out the room at school and we all thought it was the coolest thing ever
Even as a dedicated 92-95 jungle guy I boogie to that tune every time I hear it. Though the drums are a bit lacking in inspiration I think the bassline rules.

yo 28gbb and others - I don't usually post in or read this thread aside from the Guide posts (which are always great) but what do you guys think about the slow rise of footwork in the UK bass community? Its had a limited influence over there as evidenced by Addison Groove's Footcrab/Dumbshit, Out In Da Streets by Africa Hitech, Phillip D Kick, and Machinedrum's Ecstasy Boom EP. How do you think the big Mike Paradinas/Planet Mu push with Bangs & Works Vol. 2 and the multiple releases from native Chicago producers is going to work out? Will it always be a niche sound of is the footwork style going to explode for a year on UK dancefloors?

I've always had decent luck searching google for blogspot sites to find things.
