I was reading about Corsairs from Wikipedia and found this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lustful_Turk. Like half of the plot of the Song of Ice and Fire is lifted from that book. I knew already that slave fantasies sell even today, but I didn't know that they went that far back.
