Maybe you should reread the first drogo/dany sex scene if you want to say he has no concept of consent. He does more so than a lot of people in the story, considering he asks "no?" 'fore sticking his finger in her vagina. Also, you people who can't accept that some rape incidents are worse than others are infantile at best. Yes, Gregor raping the girl at the tavern was worse than anything Drogo did to Dany. Sorry if you're upset.

Well, the idea is that he would act like he was supporting Renly but secretly be conspiring to kill him. Stannis doesn't do that kind of deception, either, though. Plus, Stannis actually has a very favorable history as a battle commander holding Storm's End and smashing the Iron Fleet.
