I'm getting this too, same model + video card, but with 8gb of aftermarket RAM. I have to reboot to clear it up. Sometimes a whole window goes screwy on my external monitor, so I think it's video drivers. I think.

edit: ha ha five seconds after I posted that all my hard drives hanged hard and I had to force reboot. UNRELATED ISSUE.
