So the general consensus is... If getting an 11" Air, get it with the upgraded processor and 4GB of RAM because who the gently caress would get a laptop with 2GB nowadays and If getting a 13" Air, the base model is fine? My old Dell D430 tiny laptop is on its way out, time to look for a new laptop and these look like they'll fit the bill nicely. I'm not even going to consider getting the 11" with 2GB of RAM as that is dumb. I'm heavily leaning towards the 13" as the screen resolution is much nicer than the 1366x768 bullshit on the 11".

Why would I order a Macbook that I'm not customizing from the Apple store and pay tax and get lovely shipping when I can buy it from Amazon for 5% less with 2 day shipping and no tax? I guess the student discount would give me a $100 App Store card, but other than that I'm stumped as to why you would order a base model from the Apple store?

But now when I go to boot holding command-R I get a flashing folder with a ? over it. Any thoughts as to why I can't seem to start recovery? It needs to actually have the internet recovery software on there, with a blank HD nothing will happen.

Welp, my under 2 month old Macbook Air magsafe charger is dead, tried multiple outlets, tried both different tips, tried leaving it unplugged for a day and still nothing, no lights. Time to go to the Apple store this weekend
