It's almost as if it was all planned separately from Mojang. I wish Blizzcon was this bad, its like watching a beached whale die.

At least the game is finally "done", now churn out some real new and exciting assets.

Does anyone really expect the game to get pervasive microtransactions? I mean, this isn't EA we're talking about.

For awhile, Notch would be the top contributor on the Humble Bundles, outpacing anyone who tried to top him.

Why isnt he funding more indie companies?

Only a corporate mind like Microsoft's could so totally fail to understand why its $2 billion acquisition is the most popular video game in history as to proceed to pour gods know how many millions of dollars into developing photorealistic graphics for it.

Sorry they spent barely any money on graphics and all money on plastic toys, woops.

Seeing a long time ago that Minecraft wasn't going to be the game people dreamed of it. Sadly modding communities beat the developer to the punch and destabilized anything they wanted to do, pre fascism or post corporate giant sale. They'll never move beyond adding nooks and crannies to an already overcrowded game made off free work.

Abandon this game you fools.

I seriously think that a huge chunk of gamers believe that once a game is released, everyone who worked on it basically stop getting paid forever and that continuing to support a game after release is something they merely choose to do out of the kindness of their hearts.

Mojang doesn't work on anything but Minecraft, essentially. So no, the fact that the game is 10 years old means poo poo when it is the only reason any of them are still getting a paycheck. It's literally their job to work on Minecraft.

That happens most of the time. Diablo 2 1.11 comes to mind.

Maybe you could all stop being so goddamn weird about it? The support is probably under resourced and also dealing with the legacy Mojang accounts is probably a massive headache. Their support priority directives may also be more about stuff like the micro transactions in the Windows and console editions, and also pacifying soccer mums because little Jimmy saw a penis online that someone made on a popular server. Who knows. Yes Microsoft could make the customer support experience better. No it's almost certainly not some weird or deliberate scheme.

Go back to talking about bees, please.

This game sucks lmao, not because of the actual game but because of this post.
