We have something like that in LA, except the flooding is about every 10-15 years, there is a public golf course, a bunch of soccer fields, and a bunch of hiking trails. Its a good use for land you shouldn't let people build on due to said flooding concerns, better than letting some future idiot get strong armed into letting people build houses there The Glumslinger fucked around with this message at 01:16 on Dec 28, 2016 |

The part of CA that burned in that fire is literally wine country, it gets warm up here, but this isn't desert land or redwood forest I also don't think the plants evolved to take down horribly maintained PG&E power lines. On the other hand, since the diswhasher is in the island, adding the sink there does not add much more plumbing anyway, and having the sink right there lets you rinse dishes before putting them into the dishwasher without dripping across the floor so it's a relatively inexpensive and reasonable addition. I think overall the island is reasonably designed. I assumed it was a microwave

With the price history clearly available, why would anyone buy a flip where the price went up almost 2.5x? The Zestimate seems pretty accurate in this case, and it's half of what they listed for. They added a second story, so they probably doubled the square footage
