I'm pretty sure that what's really going on with the story hasn't been revealed yet, or at least only hinted at. I could be wrong, but it seems like its hinting at being more than just Baam's story. Also, I love the crazy bizarre tests :P

Thanks for this thread. Read up to the most recent chapter and I gotta say I'm really enjoying this. Loving all the characters and story and such, but being 60 chapters in and only being on the 2nd floor means there's gonna be a bunch of annoying waiting. Anyone know what kind of release schedule this has, if it even has one?

Not necessarily, they've just gone on record saying that the second floor was set-up for the sole purpose of identifying and eliminating anyone who might upset the status quo. Considering how quickly poo poo started to come together once Baam actually asked the Guardian for a trial, I'd imagine later floors are going to be a single story arc each. Plus, they need to make sure the cast can actually fight decently.

Marathoned this yesterday, thanks for the thread. If anyone reads the credits/notes one of them said the author is planning multiple series set in the same world, so it might be we wont get much information about anything but the tower in this one. I hope they start getting up faster once floor 2 is done.

Aww yeah, Girl Power. I love that despite being an openly fantastical setting, there's still some magical realism going on. Is this manga sort of like trick tower from Hunter x Hunter? Ever since watching that I've been looking for anime/manga similar to the kind of psychology that Hunter X Hunter used as plot devices.
