Konstantin, you do realize that GGPO was licensed fairly early in the actual development process, right? They're not just slapping it in to a finished product, but rather designing their game with GGPO in mind from the outset. It won't be perfect but it should be the best online experience offered by console fighting games.

Walkspeeds really are terrible in this game, but watching Arturo play is going to exaggerate your perception of the pace because he's one of the best Dhalsims in the world.

I would like to see Injustice end up being a competitively viable game, but things like that meter wagering clash system and the super long stage area transitions and super animations don't do much to inspire confidence. What I'm hoping, though, is that this is just extremely rough early footage and that they listen to input from their pro testers and from players at various events.

The most legitimate complaint about Injustice so far and the one that needs to be shouted from the mountaintops is the stage transitions and supers that take so drat long to play out. Wager/Clash can be tweaked or cut, general gameplay will definitely be tweaked and smoothed out, but people need to be constantly telling NRS that these long animations destroy the flow of the game and will be nightmarish for getting through tons of tournament matches in a timely manner.

Forcing in two characters in a situation where you have the aggressor advantage, one of those characters flat out cannot block, and if you don't succeed your opponent still has to never be at neutral for long for fear of completely losing their character sounds worth it to me, as long as consistent setups into it are found (which I'm sure they will be).
