Glenn Tipton came out to play the last four or so songs of the set. Halford sounded better than when I saw him ten years ago. If this is Priest's last US tour, they’re going out strong.

No Tipton on the date I went to unfortunately, but they still absolutely killed it. Halford has still got it.

When I saw them in 2007 (which I can't believe is more than a decade ago now) it was Gillan, Steve Morse (who's been there forever), Roger Glover, Don Airey and Ian Paice, so that's three fifths of the classic lineup. According to Wikipedia that's still who's in it today. They were good but I was 15 and it was $10 lawn seats. I don't know about now but I do feel like I should at least try to see Priest before they call it a day if I can find the time. Unfortunately it's in Tinley Park so I probably can't.

Morse made his name in Dixie Dregs, who were a cool instrumental band with eclectic influences.
