The most common versions on youtube seem to be the 2007 remastered release but I've also seen that there's a 2012 remastered special edition album and I think a 2018 version as well. I've listened to some of the song versions made after the 2007 version and they don't sound as good to me so I'm wondering what the best balance would be to get all the songs (like Tides of War, Harvest of Sorrow and Doom) without getting a version that doesn't sound as good as the 2007 release. The 2018 version is closer to the 2012 version than the 2007 version. It's a lot more compressed than the 2007 version, but I also think it has a better mix than the 2012 version. None of them are perfect, unfortunately.
