Not really, he tends to resort to snorting and growling these days. Years of screaming like a madman has taken it's toll. Like so

This is kinda like GloryHammer, if GloryHammer weren't actually funny and didn't have actual good songs.
Real shame though, I do appreciate the idea behind what they're doing, it's just that their execution completely fails for me.

That's funny because I discovered tower of fire because the head jew of gloryhammer said they are comedy power metal done right (which is not correct because the only good comedy metal band is nanowar of steel)

dunno if there are any high schoolers in here who still care about folk metal, but eluveitie's hurdy gurdyist/vocalist, drummer, and guitarist called it quits today. this follows on the loss of their permanent violinist and their bagpiper. they're probably dunzo

I'm not really into eluveitie but they were playing 10 minutes from my home and ironically not many folk bands come to finland. They were pretty boring but Skálmöld was there too and they were awesome and now I'm a fan.

Even my friend who is a pretty big fan thinks their act is getting stale. We figured they have a checklist of cultures they haven't made a song about, got to have a crowd pleaser for all the locations.

Death Metal Dads is probably the best metal podcast, featuring Shelby Lermo (Vastum, Apocryphon, Ulthar, Apprentice Destroyer, Extremity) and Aesop Dekker (Cosmic Hearse, Agalloch, Khorada, Ludicra, Vhol, Worm Ouroboros, Extremity) talking about ostensibly death metal and fatherhood but mostly just stories about the bay area music scene and dick and fart jokes.

I've been listening to these and right now I'm dying at Shelby trying to explain this video to Aesop
