I know they're probably not your guys' favorite, but I'm completely enamored by Epica's new single, The Essence of Silence. Even some of my super kvlt death metal purist friends enjoy it, so... maybe worth checking out?

The new Epica album finally leaked, a whole two days before its official EU release. It's really drat good, probably a contender for my album of the year. Those of you who don't like Epica's shtick may at least appreciate Victim of Contingency (lol yes their song titles are still horrible) or The Second Stone or The Essence of Silence. (Why do metal bands think they benefit from lyric videos? They don't.) edit: Okay the more I listen to it the more I can't shut up about it.
