Shamed posted:So, I'm a couple days late to the death party, but a reminder that Horrendous is playing a preshow for MDF on Thursday. Which makes Thursday a hell of a lot better, because the only bands that you should care about that day are Triptykon (because they play Hellhammer and Celtic Frost songs live) and Coffins. seeing Ulcerate in SF this week will have to do for missing out on another MDF.

finally listening to the new ABYSMAL TORMENT. http://willowtip.bandcamp.com/album/cultivate-the-apostate a little less than halfway through so far. The production has been off-putting (I love the grimey, Omnicide sound)as have the super traditional dm vox. Riffs are serviceable but the first few songs seemed to be trying to recreate that Omnicide sound. Some of the riffs sounding like they were just straight up lifted from that album. with 13 songs all at that 4:30-5 minute range, this album might be too much for one sitting, which sucks.
