thepitgoddess posted:BDM would be better live if they had better fans. They're actually a really fun and energetic band to watch. One of BDM's fans cracked one of my ribs! Hooray! If you don't like hardcore dancers, stay away from the pit most of the night. Then again, I saw them like 4 years ago, so I don't know if people still hardcore dance to them. Agreed, the BDM fanbase is poo poo. I personally like their music, so I would go see them.

As these suggest, I dig the blackened thrash thing, and anything that has the same kind of rock the gently caress out feel to it like the newer Darkthrone releases, Kvelertak, etc. Aura Noir are pretty cool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7rNAcvq0NI

Antaeus is a GREAT band too. 'Cut Your Flesh and Worship Satan' rules as well.

The new Spawn of Possession album is the most beautiful brutal thing I've heard in a while. Everything is on point, the guitars are crisp, the drums are triggered but they don't sound like a Krisiun off-shot, PINCH HARMONICS UP THE rear end. Get it.
