According to the secondhand info from other wrestlers in Japan, his father has already passed away and he was a CEO at a major electrical corporation in Japan, along with Ibushi's residence having an elevator (From Jado and Geo) but it's unlikely he's going to take over the family business at all but is still a trust fund kid.

I still see Ibushi as the type to wrestle until he's crippled though just because he loves it and has no passing knowledge about literally anything but what's in front of him, considering he learned 0 English to communicate with Kenny, had no idea who Vince McMahon was, and refused a full time NJPW contract to wrestle in Kaiju Big Battel.

He probably has plenty of money but just wants to wrestle and live in his own world which would have happened with or without his families fortune.

Colt was basically just a platform for Punk, a journalist basically giving an interview but Colt still got roped into the legal bullshit that was just meant to drain CM Punk and it worked, even though they didn't win the lawsuit. The lawsuit is just a classic cooperate vs victim lawsuit where the point isn't to win a settlement, just emotionally and financially drain their opponents because they still have a nearly infinite resource of money and can stall or go long enough for their opponent to just quit. Punk might not have been financially drained but he definitely was emotionally drained and he turned on his best friend of many, many years because of it. It's still a win for WWE even though the case was thrown out

Punk is a victim too, but Colt is the only truly innocent one here. Punk could still do another MMA fight and make more than enough to pay Colt's legal fees, I'm not sure if Colt breaks 100k a year.

There's a lot of undercard/midcard guys that do at least appreciate that Russo was willing to give just about everyone on the roster TV time, even if it basically meant you were playing a stereotype if you're any kind of minority, at least they were having storylines despite most of them being absolutely awful
