Meltzer keeps saying Jessamyn at least is a lot better than most people who've trained for five months so the "oh maybe they'll just never be any good and will always suck" thing feels like unnecessary doomsaying. It's definitely still too early to put them on TV but five months is not a very long time.

Yeah, you can see elements of Candice in a lot of the AIW guys, even more so than Johnny for most (how they use blood in matches is a big one I notice all the time). And yeah agreed. 33 isn't that old, but she's been wrestling for 16-17 years now and taking a lot more big hits for years as part of being an intergender match specialist. If it's become clear that they don't have a character or role for her in NXT I don't blame her for slowing down.
