Just finished Book of the New Sun a couple days ago, pretty awesome. It's so detailed yet so unpredictable that I can read 2 pages and feel like I have been reading for a really long time. One thing that kinda bothered me is how Severian loves or at least lusts after (and often bangs) almost every female character in the book. Maybe it has something to do with growing up isolated with all dudes but it seemed a little excessive. I'm definitely planning to reread the series in the nearish future, sounds like it is worth it.
