Does anyone have any tips for playing Uncharted 1 on Crushing difficulty? Pretty much anything I try that got me through hard mode (fist of steel and the like) just seem to get me killed.

Thanks to the people who gave me Uncharted 1 tips. But I don't think I'm going to try Crushing anymore because I'm just not having fun with it.GreenBuckanneer posted:Man, can't I just get a platformer with great graphics and no combat crap I don't mind combat but I just entered the fortress and the combat is not all that great. Uncharted is much more a shooter than a platformer, so if you're looking for just a platformer it's not a very good choice. If you want a straight up platformer you could try De Blob 2. I've only played the first one but that was pretty fun and the sequel is apparently more of the same.

Speedball posted:So. Hydrophobia: Prophecy. Anybody tried it out yet? I'm curious, this is supposed to be the "good" version of the game. I only played through the first act, but the platforming feels really bad (jumping is more like lurching forward then dropping like a brick), and every room looks the same. Nice water though.

So I've been told Rearmed 2 isn't very good at all. But is it worth five bucks if I really liked the first Rearmed?

Mega Man 10 is easier, and it even has an easy mode. But I'd get 9 anyways because the level design is better overall.

Okay so I ordered a used copy of FF13-2 off Amazon and it came in. There was a sticker around the hole of the disk on the top part (the non-read part). Because I'm a tremendous idiot I removed the sticker and now there's some lovely, sticky sticker residue on the label part of the disk. What I'm asking is what's a good way to get rid of this stuff?

Thanks for the advice about the residue removing guys, the nail polish remover worked like a charm

I'm thinking of buying Tales of Graces F. I liked most of the previous Tales games but was really annoyed by the fetch quests, really tedious puzzles (Symphonia was especially bad about this), and the lack of a cutscene skip button. Does Graces F fix any of these?

Sweet, the unskippable cutscenes were my main problem. Thanks for the quick replies!

Graces is the only Tales game I can play nowadays because it is the only one that lets you skip cutscenes .

Stare-Out posted:Here's 35 minutes of Beyond: Two Souls gameplay they screened at the Tribeca Film Festival yesterday. I gotta say it looks pretty nice, very Heavy Rain but the ghost manipulation/possession gimmick seems kind of cool. Well it looks better than Heavy Rain. Though I don't really have high hopes because Heavy Rain was honestly one of the worst and most poorly-written games I had ever played and Indigo Prophecy didn't seem any better from the LP I watched.
