I'm not sure if there's a difference in the end result if you just make it weaker to begin with. It doesn't seem like there'd be. that sounds like a cold-brew Americano. I suppose the benefit is that anyone can make their "coffee" to whatever strength they wish by simply adding more water/milk/creamer.
