Hello. I searched through the thread, but could not find anything. If Hollywood Handbook is my favorite thing in the world, what else should I be listening too? I only have like 10 left. :sadpeanut:

May seem obvious, but have you tried any of Earwolf's shows? They have a lot of character based improv shows: Improv4Humans, Comedy Bang Bang, Spontaneanation

No I have not. I was thinking them as well, but it seems like they have 100 shows. I didn't even know how to describe what I liked, but you are correct. I want character based improv, but where they are not letting you in on the joke. I will try some of those out. Thanks!

Ha. Thanks. I am going to try the 4 posted. I am not going to lie, seeing like 300-400 episodes I am behind freaks me out a bit. I got into HH last year, and it took at least a year to get through 100 and some. Hopefully I will not like all 4 of these? Wanting to be a completionist will probably kill me at this point.

After hopping around with the suggestions I think I like CBB style the most. Interviews where improv happens, but no everyone is playing. I will check out some best ofs and see where to go. Thanks.

I am looking for a iOS podcast manager that will do what beyond pod did for me on android. Main 2 things I am looking for are being able to hand make playlists, and do download specific episodes I want. There are pods like 99% Invisible that I am like 120 behind and throw one in every other podcast. Playlists make this way easier.

I use overcast but I'm not a fan of their playlist system. I would rather have playlists like normal music playlists where you just add podcast episodes instead of music tracks. Maybe I just don't get how it works.

Same with Spotify btw. I don't get why you're not allowed to add podcasts to a normal playlist.

Yeah. That's what I'm running into as well. I want to add 5 podcasts and have them play in order.

I'm sure someone already recommended S Town, but it didn't register with me until someone at work raved about it and holy poo poo it's a must. Seven episodes, from the Serial producers and This American Life which gives you an idea of the tone, but it's the uniqueness of the story that makes it worth checking out. And I'll leave it at that because the story keeps unfolding so there's no point in spoiling a thing.

It is a wonderful and beautiful journey that I was devised when ended.

s-town is the best thing I have ever heard. I don't want to ruin anything but it is a look at a small town through the eyes of a cool/crazy dude from that town and a producer from this American life. I cannot recommend it enough.

Kind of random request, but I spent the summer listening to all of the 2 Dope Queen podcast and love when it is just the two hosts being friends/being raunchy /trying to talk each other into anal.

So is there a podcast with comics having raunchy sex or relationship talk where the hosts are preferably women? Or one with male hosts where they do not suck?

Hello I'm looking for a podcast that has this kind of format: two (or more) people talking about a show/book, with little bits of the show/book sprinkled throughout. The two important things for me is they read out loud their favorite passages, and it's more than one person.

Binge Mode: Harry Potter. They also did Game of Thrones, and are starting Star Wars.

Does any podcast talk (not at length) about important battles? I have been obsessed with the last run of Revisionist History episodes about the firebombing of Tokyo. I love his style in general, but I also like they are fairly bite sized while managing to get across how important the story is.
