I have no idea what I'm doing, but that's never been a problem before.

I asked in the mod thread, but I figured I'd check here too:

Kind of a long shot, but does anyone have a copy of Signature Weapons 2.22? 2.23 removes the clip size increase from "bottomless". I get why Strudel Man changed it (if you go over a clip size of 255, it rolls back around), but dammit, I want a .357 with 50 rounds crammed in a 6-round cylinder :colbert:

I actually ran into some female NCR troopers, one in full uniform, dancing in the fountain outside the Ultra-Luxe. I think they got arrested by a male trooper.

That's a scripted event that will randomly(? I think, it might just be the Xth time you enter the cell) spawn three drunk women playing in the fountain who are accosted by a Securitron and then ultimately escorted away by another trooper. I think that's how it goes, it's been a while since I've watched the scene. I can't remember if the trooper dancing with the hookers is a special scene (I don't remember any special dialogue like with the fountain), but I've seen it happen before too.

I just got New Vegas a couple of weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it so far (20+ hours in) but one thing really pissed me off: doing the Omertas quest I turned in Cachino, because he was a dick and I wanted to meet his bosses and get some info. But after two dumb fetch quests the quest line was finished and that means I somehow approved of the Omertas' plan to attack the Strip. What.

Is there any way to fix it?

Shoot them?

I'm pretty sure they said a single Elvis song would have cost more then the rest of the music licensing put together.

Personally, I don't think more upbeat, faster paced songs would fit the mood of Fallout very well. I didn't like the few they included in F3. I thought they did a really good job picking the music for New Vegas.

I know it didn't come out in the '50s, but every time I get to the Dam fight I put "Viva Las Vegas" on in the background and it makes it just so goddamn amazing. Something about hearing "Viva! Vivaaa! Las Vegaaaaassss!" as you put that last .50 round into the Legate's skull is just profound. :allears:

It might be kind of a neat thing if once you get to the dam Mr. New Vegas launches into some "And now, something very special I've been saving for you all..." and it starts playing something more upbeat and fast-paced to score the final battle.

Granted it might be possible on the lower difficulty settings, but I wouldn't know since I'm not a bitch :colbert:

This would be an acceptable opinion if raising the difficulty did anything other than turn enemies into giant bullet sponges :v:

You're not playing with GRA The Right to Bear Arms, are you? Because that's what happens with that mod.

Nah I think he's talking about the bridge on the road between Nipton and Novac. That's a scripted encounter, happens every game. I think it starts as soon as you enter the cell (which includes wandering around that farmstead I forget the name of, the one that has The Chopper in it), so it's relatively easy to miss if you're not just walking the road.

Aw, poo poo. I thought that was like a legit thing, but finding out that it's scripted is kind of disappointing.

Yeah, sorry :-/ I'm not sure how much of it is scripted scripted, but I've even approached it while disliked by Caesar's Legion, and they won't attack me, just the caravan. Other soldiers would still shoot me, so I dunno if they have modified AI or what.

Quick question regarding followers: Do you have to end the game with a follower to get to see their 'ending', or do you just have to travel with them for a while?

I've never bothered with followers in my previous playthroughs of New Vegas and feel I'm missing out on content, so I've got Boone and I'm about to go try and fix ED-E (Please, no spoilers)

Their ending is based pretty much entirely on how you do their quest and whether or not they're alive.
