This has probably been asked before, but sometimes my head glows at random times (no fighting or anything, nothing around to kill itself either) and I will gain 1 extra estus flask use that doesn't get restored. Like if I just kindled a fire, it pumps up to 11, but then back down to 10 when I revisit. What's up with that?

Aries posted:How are people playing this game with heavy armour? I use the ring that gives +25% max eqp burden and wear a decent amount of heavy armor while remaining under 50%. For a time when I was really heavy, it sucked, but honestly unless i'm going up against an enemy I know I NEED to dodge, I will just circle-strafe with a shield raised and just clomp around no problem.

Fonzarelli posted:I hear that there is a magic trainer in the lower burg. Where abouts is he? Very early on in that area. Make sure you bought the key from the merchant in the upper burg near the bonfire (maybe the master key would open it too, I don't know). Just head down the stairs past 3 dogs near a pile of flaming corpses and check the doors. One of them will have the guy pleading for you to unlock the door and free him. He'll be in Firelink after that (there's a body in a jar there too with sorcerer clothes and a catalyst.)

But Not Tonight posted:I'm sorry, I know this is old news, but what's the trick to the quick farm method for the guys behind the door in Darkroot? One by one, or isn't there a way to make them jump like lemmings? Usually easier to watch a video, but really just run past the guy casting soul arrows until you can get the priest (mace wielding) and thief (near invisible) to follow you. Then make a beeline right back to the staircase leading down from the door you opened with the seal and head to the bottom right of the staircase. Get to the very edge without falling off and just face outwards to the cliff edge and shield. They will auto-path up the staircase and then try to come to you under them, usually bouncing off your head (shielding prevents you from staggering) and off into the pit. If they do land next to you, keep your back to the wall and let their reflected attacks knock them off. The only problem is if you sometimes get the sorcerer off to the side, he'll stop following and just cast soul arrows at you instead of going up the stairs. if he's too far to the cliff edge, they can hit you and make things tough. But if you die, your body is literally right next to the bofnire. edit: I guess I made it sound complicated and took too long. but whatever.
