I definitely plan on trying some vodka/rum infusions within the next couple months. Someone posted some blueberry vodka on the last page and, while it sounds awesome, I can't get over the colour. I guess I'm used to the artificially flavored Smirnoff vodkas/Bacardi rums. Is there a way to make them clear of colour and transparent like normal vodka, or do you have to expect some colouring? I started a vanilla rum a long time ago but never really drank it, since it didn't taste right at the time. Now that I read that OP I realize it may have been because I only waited a week or two. I have the bottle still, and it's been 4+ years... I think I'll try it out again.
