I think I missed the page back where all the avatar stuff went on, but who is resizing all these sprites? I'd love to have this as my avatar.

I caved and got the Seerpak because I see very little chance of the tarot decks ever being sold in the store, considering how many artists contributed to it. The MC pack of cards Hussie could hustle easily and without having to compensate a dozen plus people with each sale and worrying about art rights and whatnot, which would be very tedious to do for the tarot deck. Also the Derse tshirt is awesome (and it looks like I will be getting the tshirt from the snoutpak I went half in on). My boyfriend and I have come to the conclusion that we cannot buy each other Christmas presents because we essentially just bought all of them and threw our money at Hussie.

I am loving Roxy's new outfit. She looks like she's ready to hit the nightclubs in LOPAN (well, if all the planets weren't dead). I suppose she could still get her rave on out in the desert with the pyramid neons. Hussie go back! We need to know more. :allears:

I think at this point it's entirely possible for Caliborn/Calliope's planet to actually be in the medium. We have no clue, since they've been restrained to it up until Caliborn chews his leg off. Kind of still hoping that we get to see them both Ascend, but unlikely since iirc they mention they are already playing the game... in reality, they probably share a single planet, instead of like it is with each kid getting their own planet.

Also: Roxy's dress. Love it, want it, first thing in my life that has made me consider cosplaying.

I think I must be one of the only people distraught by this. But then, I because un-distraught, because in Hussieland no one says dead forever. Especially not the most important character in the comic. Besides, Gamzee loves him some miracles- it would seem to be time for one of those right now. And maybe a pie.

This is the direction I'm guessing. Gamzee just gets back up with that doofy smile on his face transforms into actually-godtier Gamzee. Let's hope he's god tier at least, since his dream self is dead afaik, and I think Caliborn would rather give him some ammunition kisses than a smooch on the lips.

uranium grass
Jan 15, 2005

Maybe under the conditions of the game since he killed both his host and server player before either could enter the medium, the game caused him to immediately exile himself via that whole black-hole kernelsprite bit.

My only other guess is Calliope's fanfiction is also the narration, so some portion of her (for instance Callie Ohpeee) or Caliborn could have actually just killed a doomed beta Calliope with time shenanigans.

Calliope is out there somewhere, and she is still waggling her finger at her pompous little brat of a brother.

Aren't trolls generally tougher, stronger, and all around more durable the higher they are on the hemospectrum (the tradeoff for the lower spectrum's psychic abilities), including an increased life span? This much damage might just not be fatal to Gamzee due to him being a highblood. Unlikely, but not impossible.

Oh well, at least that's a 2x bad-rear end chainsaw fashion combo. It could be far worse.

I don't think Hussie's ever made me this sad in three pages before. Poor Dirk really has no idea how to interact face to face and is clingy, but has no idea he is even potentially sabotaging this relationship. On the other hand, I feel like Jake was pressured into this; he had entertained the thought of a relationship with Dirk before, but was sort of obligated into the situation I assume kick-started their relationship (severed head kiss, of course). Dirk may have seen it as a grand romantic gesture, but to Jake, whether he was truly interested in Dirk or not, had to save his buddy either way.

I wonder how Jane's been holding up? Jake says he hasn't spoken to her much at all, and has to initiate their conversations usually (not surprising, since it's implied he's asking for relationship help). Is Jane still waxing red for Jake? Is her drunken bff getting her through her disappointment? Most importantly, did I actually just use the phrase "waxing red" unironically?

I can understand how Grandpa Harley got into the medium, but what was he doing with John's copy of Colonel Sassacre's way way way back after John first entered the medium? I want to know why GCat is there too. During my re-read I realized a very particular looking cat was seen very often at the side of Her Imperial Condescension. On the other hand, it's been stated that the Condesce had been trying to get Dirk and Roxy into the game, and it might also apply to Jane and Jake- GCat could be her little spy, subtly sabotaging everything. :ohdear:
