Our neighbours are catsitting the boys for the night and got this wonderfully dignified shot of Garrus![]()

Garrus is adorable. I love all the black cats in here.

Just coming in to mention our late cat Zero II. She was a good little black cat with a little patch of white on her chest. She like to make biscuits while pretending to nurse (and eat cigarettes apparently?). She ended up passing a long time ago due to throat obstruction. Would love to adopt a black cat if we didn't already have a half dozen.

This is Leeloo (multicat). I’m wondering if she has some Maine coon in her. It wasn’t noticeable when she was a kitten now that’s she’s grown she has a lot of fur around her neck.![]()

![]() Got these two goobers back in March. Luna's on top, lasagna is the one on the bottom. They're brother and sister and got them from shelter. First few weeks they had diarrhea constantly and our house smelled so bad. My wife was about to have a breakdown. We got their diet stuff figured out eventually though. They still have horrible smelling poops and farts, but at least it's not diarrhea under the bed. Lasagna was much smaller when we got them, he's now definitely the bigger one. Here's a more recent one of lasagna ![]() And a more recent one of Luna ![]()

Looks like a similar ruff arrangement to our main man Bran who is half Maine Coon, half Ragdoll. ![]() For reference, here's a 100% purestrain Maine Coon ruff. This guy is an absolute menace by the way. ![]()

All cats are beautiful but those silky black types always remind me of Halloween, the best season & Janet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qH-rPt1ftSo

I kind of want a maine coon, but dealing with the furry butt-fluff looks unfun. With my short-hair cats I never have to deal with dingleberries.

Yeah, we had a longhair (not a Maine Coon, just a DLH) and there was a non-trivial amount of cat butt hygiene work involved. I loved that cat a lot, and longhairs are very pretty, but I'm not sure I'd want to own one again.

When we got Poco we were thinking she as a Sports Cat, as per these ancient scriptures:![]() And she obligingly started off as a sleek pine marten ![]() but in hindsight there were signs of the more Luxury stormclod she'd become: ![]() We've only had butt hair berry incidents once or twice in 6 years

I did once have to deal with Ethics frantically bolting around the apartment in terror, chased by his own poop. He ate some of my long hair and it uh, made a bit of a poop-chain problem.
