Discotek Media is a pretty awesome company, granted their catalog is like half asian porn. But they also released Fist of the North Star in its entirety on DVD and even went through the trouble of getting the 2008 remaster of the show, which not even the licensed versions that are available for streaming had. So I'm 100% sure that they'll do a great job with this release, especially since zari-gani is working on it.

The part at the end where Arino panicked with the platforms was heartbreaking, because it looked like he could just stand still on them. He would have passed if he stopped hopping around like a doofus.

I don't think that's how the game works, if you notice, the physics in the game are wonky as hell and kagekiyo keeps in place while the platform still moves, so it's actually LESS dangerous to hop around than it is to stand still

minus is garbage as a filehost. It's alright as an image host though. Rapidgator is pretty good only problem is that free accounts can only download files under 500mb, Uploaded.to is for the most part pretty alright as well, only issue is the wait times between downloads. The rest are just plain bad, mediafire would be best but the files are too big.

In the end, long live megaupload.

If they're unimportant and Discotek rarely has dubs on their dvds let alone default dubs WHY are they there AND default?
And as for pretending they aren't there I would still be buying them which would tell them that people want more dubs of the show.

Discotek Always includes the dubs in their releases if one exists, they do not dub the properties they license, so this complaint is Incredibly stupid.

This means that if further episodes were to get licensed they would not be dubbed.

No. My complaints are that the "Kotaku" dub and sub are default, that the alternate subtitles are lower quality than the fan subs (in visual terms, NOT translation) and that in buying it I would be supporting these things.

You have to understand that there are NO Kotaku subtitles, everything regarding subtitles was redone even for the english audio track. And that the subtitles will look worse because it's a limitation of the format.

It's a proper fuckin' sub alright. The people at Over-Time are legit as gently caress. The fact that you don't "like" (and I'm saying it like this because it's likely a problem with the font rendering) shouldn't discredit the effort that went into it.
