This movie has plenty of fun gags and great action sequences, all par=for-the-course for a Shrek spin-off. But while you may laugh at the gags, you won't be captivated by the plot, which is marred by nonsensical plot twists and illogical characterizations. There's a particularly bad plot twist that leads into the final act that is totally cliché yet completely unforseen because it makes no goddamn sense. If it was meant to be a sort of send-up of some other movie, I failed to laugh. When stupid crap like this is presented to you, you stop giving a poo poo about what happens to these characters.
