Anyone listened to the new Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros? I thought their first album was pretty good, although I really only liked two or three songs from it.

Anyone here listen to Natural Child? I just discovered them and they're pretty great. They kind of remind me of a more garage-rock version of the Rolling Stones. Usually I'm into the more lo-fi folk stuff, but sometimes you just need to rock.

Hey, the newest Pixies album is actually kind of good. I'm always wary of bands reuniting after a long break and their first album after they got back together did nothing to convince me otherwise, but this one's alright. Not as good as their original run obviously, but I'd say it's worth a listen if you like them.

Ariel Pink's been saying stupid poo poo for years so this isn't surprising. But I love John Maus, so that hurts. Although also not very surprising considering his continued association with Pink.
