Hoping someone here can help me out, I'm trying to track down a song and band that leaked out of my brain that I can't recall. It's a folksy instrumental tune with a narrative of police brutality against a woman sung in English and a chorus that starts in French and goes into English emphasizing "gently caress the Police!" The album cover is a colored sketch or lithograph of a woman and a skeleton in pants and coat. Something similar with more rock to it. 10 rue d'la Madeleine - Vive la commune - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzrz5u_q_e8 And this is a favorite that I think fits in here.
