Just a quick question, are there any other Smith Westerns fans in this thread? They do this slightly melancholy mix of glam and indie stuff, with this brilliant 90s-era Britpop influence running through the whole thing. I've had their second album, Dye It Blonde, playing non-stop for a couple of weeks now and I'm still absolutely in love with it. Here's a couple of tracks from it:

End of the Night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dj7Z1RAeqBQ

Their newest album, "Soft Will", came out today. It's a bit more melancholy and atmospheric than Dye It Blonde, and it lacked a bit of punch in places, but it's still a solid album. Here's the single they released from it about a month back:

If you like that, then definitely check out the full album... as good as it is, there isn't really anything on there which works just as well as a standalone single (the one I linked above probably comes closest), so the songs tend to lose something when they're pulled out of context.

Echoing the love for the new Portugal. The Man album as well - Sea of Air was stuck in my head for ages after I listened to it, and I didn't even mind.
