They're out of Lafayette, LA, influenced by (and have played in) the cajun and zydeco scene there.



They've had a song in a Kindle Fire advert, on Glee, and other stuff, so they're pretty well known, but despite that, I don't hear people talking about them very often.

And one of the stranger videos I've seen. They did an NPR tiny desk concert, but everyone except male lead singer Taylor Guarisco looks bored, and Taylor makes some... weird faces. Especially in the last song, total o-face going on.

I just really, really like them, and every time I see them playing in Mobile or Bham or Atlanta, I'm filled with sadness, because I never have time to go see them
