This seems like an album that would be fantastic to listen to while driving or walking through a city you're completely unfamiliar with. Being completely out of your element, but completely at ease. That sort of thing.
This sums it up nicely. Their debut had the same fantastic feel to it. So good.

I love Chelsea Wolfe's new album. It's called Unknown Rooms: A Collection of Acoustic Songs. Have a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgWb1d001FI

At this rate I think we'll get the entire album in Video Form by the time Evil Friends actually releases.
I really like this song. Thanks for the heads up.

It's like jazz and post-rock got drunk and punched out house or something, I'm not really sure.

Two guys wailing on sax with a drummer isn't what I'd think of as a band, but it works.

This makes me laugh, and nod my head at the same time. Thanks a lot for the links.

edit: This shouldn't sound as awesome as it does!

A friend said to me "you might like this" and played Lies by Chvrches. I bought the album 5 minutes later. This is amazing stuff.

The Future's Void is out, the new album by EMA. If you liked her last album, Past Life Martyred Saints, you should definitely check it out. I like it a lot.

New Order's new album is utterly fantastic. Makes me want to slap Dave Gahan and Martin Gore in their faces and say "Look!"

This made my day. I had no idea this was coming. "How good can it be?", said the pessimist in me before my first listen. Well, holy poo poo. :aaa:

Man, I really like her stuff, but that video/song does nothing for me. It's no Oblivion, that's for sure.

It's a new version. I liked the demo version better. But the album as a whole owns.

I was worried after the first video, but I really like the album overall. I want my artists to evolve and change. Now I can't wait for Pitchfork to give it a score of 3.5! I still prefer »Visions« (a lot), but if she felt the need to get this out of her system, more power to her.

edit:

Just got to Realiti. It's unfortunate that they mangled it like that. The demo version was way better.

I don't care about Pitchfork scores, but I was really looking forward to see how much poo poo they would fling at her new album. Well, turns out, none.

Tonight at the Met Gala 2018, the most unexpected duo made an appearance: Grimes and Elon Musk. Claire Boucher and the SpaceX CEO/Tesla co-founder arrived together on the red carpet. Musk told reporters that he helped design Grimes’ dress. He also described their outing together as a “date night.”

Oblivion indeed.
