Yeah, Grimes is really good. I checked out their album after hearing Oblivion on the radio (reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5H-YlcMSbc). Good stuff.

Conduit for Sale! posted:I didn't notice it until I saw some interviews of her. It sort of colors her overall singing too, even when she isn't θing. I think she consciously uses it to her advantage too, in that she's trying to sound childish at times (well most of the time). That's a great video.

I just got into Mr. Lewis' work about a month ago, but Forget had been on constant repeat since day one,the inspired mix of new wave influences and the lyricism of the 80s was exactly what I wanted. Confess feels like it ought to have been the debut album.

That's still one of my favorite songs on the album. Her other vids have been better. It answered my question of what an idie Britney Spears video would look like.
