A few days ago Ben Gibbard released a new song on his Soundcloud page. It's about former Seattle Mariner/current New York Yankee Ichiro Suzuki. As someone who never really listened to Death Cab, but is a big fan of the Postal Service, I'd say this is the best baseball song since Take Me Out To The Ballgame. She & Him quietly put out their new record, Volume 3, this week. Zooey's got a history of writing albums that are mostly filler with one or two really good songs, and this is another. Check out "Somebody Sweet To Talk To" or "I've Got Your Number, Son". There's also a pretty good cover of Blondie's "Sunday Girl", the version that's half in French.
