You guys keep making that joke but Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash was published in 1989 and Anne Hathaway's breakout role was the Princess Diaries in 2001. Hathaway from Gundam predates movie star Hathaway.

The Monster being named Adam is a pretty common idea that's been spread around, but it's based on a misreading, the Monster was just comparing his relationship with Victor to that of Adam and God.
