I've never seen a Leprechaun movie but I'm sure I'm not missing out.

The only redeeming quality of the Leprechaun movies is the titular character, Warwick Davis' performance is hillarious and as such he's the only likeable character in those films (which, considering he's supposed to be the villian, is kind of a problem). Everybody else is just an interchangable band of assholes nobody cares about (seriously, I don't think I could name a single one of the protagonists and none of them ever last more than one movie).

The series of books it's based on is a little better to be fair and to be honest I'd kind of like to see a more accurate adaption of the whole thing one day.

Pretty Cure. It was not made by Akira Toriyama.

It's basically Super Sentai/Power Rangers only with magical girls (with a few elements from Kamen Rider and Dragon Ball thrown in for good measure), I believe they're on the poster together because their respective films at the time just happened to be double billed with one another.

It's basically a Batman film if instead of being a vigilante Batman was a thief and a terrorist whose sole goal is embarrassing the police.

To be honest, Danger: Diabolik was my only real exposure to that particular franchise. How's the other stuff (I know it was a Italian comic book originally and there was a cartoon made at one point)?

The issue is that the Star Wars thing is an anthology, so there's no internal logic dictating character placement. In that Promare poster you've got Galo Thymos front and center because he's the protagonist. He's surrounded by the other member of Burning Rescue. Lio Fotia is the Deuteragonist so he gets major placement in the poster, but since he is not aligned with Galo for the bulk of the movie he's on his own separate plane. Vulcan Hastus is the major recurring muscle, so he gets prominent placement but still smaller than Lio and Burning Rescue. And of course over it all you've got Kray Foresight.

With the Star Wars thing they don't want to say that any given thing is the main character or more important than any other part. Which, I bet, is why they have that weird robot most prominently placed. I think that they were thinking he could anchor the whole design and be the main focal point, but since he has a robot face without eyes, your eye is drawn to the characters around him with human faces.

Anyway, here's another Promare poster

Not sure if it’s true but I think I heard somewhere that the human characters from the first movie have a significantly lesser role in this one and its the Sonic cast that takes center stage.

That said, I was willing to write off the first movie from the second we got the premise but for what it’s worth it wound up being a lot better than I expected.

Fun fact, Ultraman has lips because originally the plan was that the mouth of the mask would move when the actor talked. I like to think the cartoon show also aired in the Toy Story universe and that's what made the character popular rather than the movie (which I guess in universe would have been a big budget live action flick that was pretty progressive by 90's standards)
