I would be happy if the game ended with a 2-hour long slugfest between Leon vs Chris while increasingly ridiculous exposition blared out over a speaker trying to tie up every dangling plot point in the series..

I thought it was pretty apparent that Ashley was with Leon, and Sherry was with Mystery Man (Wesker Jr.) but I might just have too much exposure to Resident Evil's crazy assed story telling. Didn't the DVD that came with Code Veronica X preorders have Wesker ominously saying something like, "There's something about this girl..." while showing RE2 Sherry with jail bars super-imposed over her? What happened to that? I don't think it's the zombies, I think it's that the trailer appears to just outright admit that the whole Raccoon City-esque part of the game is just a smaller part of Leon's story and he'll wind up in Chris' in China Action Land.

That city thing was given a name in the first trailer and it wasn't Raccoon City then and it still isn't now. Edit: It's called Tall Oaks and it seems to be where Leon's part in the story begins. The biggest thing is that Wesker's Report is written from a weird, garbled version of RE2 where Leon's the only protagonist, and every actual game in the series has featured Claire A/Leon B as canon. Sherry was in U.S. government custody as of Darkside Chronicles, but RE6 is the first time anyone's actually done anything with her since then.

I'd assume they're doing a Sonic Adventure type of thing where you play sections of the story from Leon, Wesker, and Chris' POV then you unlock one where they all team up in China (since Alex's locale seemed to be a different area in Russia, just like Leon's non-China USA section). Man I hope they have Barry Burton in the Mercenaries mode again this time. People can say what they want about RE5, but that game loving owned. Headbutting and Suplexing zombies is all I need. Hey, as long as there's a huge mercenary mode featuring every character in the series, I'm fine with it. I want a character select screen as big as Street Fighter's. And dumb minigames like "plaga fishing with barry", "extreme survivor mode with Brad (no gun, no health, 5 nemesis after you)" and an entirely dubbed date-sim where you play as Wesker trying to seduce End the series with a bang, you know what I mean Capcom.

It's part of the charm. It's one of the reasons I started caring anyways. Love the crazy too though. So the prologue mission for RE:ORC came out today. Just played through it. Don't think the Echo Six trophies apply to it though, since I didn't get "Ladies Night" unless one of those 3 females is actually not. The prologue mission is a little over 200 megs.
