Good minimal techno.
In the same vein but with more ambient stuff is the album June by Acronym: https://northernelectronics.bandcamp.com/album/june
It came out last summer but I still can't stop listening to it.

I'm the Ghost of Techno Past and i just saw this post and bought this album. Thank you, this is a real treat!

I don't doubt it, I'm not sure what I was expecting it to look like (probably some big bricky thing like Berghain) but it definitely wasn't a massive silvery behemoth of a building. They were doing some YouTube awards thing so it was all red carpets and whathaveyou outside

I need a little help from my techno pals.

This song ended up in a meme going around Twitter, Eden Acid by Tony Rohr. I like it a lot but some of the random Tony Rohr stuff I listened too after doesn't quite sound the same. I was wondering if there's a specific term for this. To me, it's just "techno" but I want to search for more like it and I'm not sure how to categorize it. Dark techno?

Alternately, any suggestions for more like this (rhythmic techno, darker sound, more texture, less harmonic)? For me it fits into a Ben Klock "Subzero" kind of vibe.

I suppose this is trance, not strictly techno, but I reckon this thread is close enough. I've been getting really into 90s trance like Orbital (Chime, Halcyon and On, Belfast), Underworld (Two Months Off, Dark and Long, Rez), and Star Guitar by Chemical Bros.

What are some other artists or tracks with this kind of vibe?

Who will win the greatest battle of them all?

Massive Attack, Fatboy Slim, Crystal Method, The Prodigy, Moby, Aphex Twin, Daniel Avery, A Guy Called Gerald, The Orb, Luke Vibert hmmm... you could probably even go into some Justice and (early) Daft Punk

e: and I think electronica might be the right word for what you're looking for? Which is not really a useful term, it's more a blend of a bunch of styles like techno, big beat, ambient, IDM, jungle/breakbeats. I do like this list of albums if you want a huge pile of suggestions

Back in the 90s DJ Venom released an album called Venom's Birthday Bash. Yes it was cheesy and kinda dumb but I have a nostalgia for it. It contained techno remixes of theme songs along with other mixes. Can't find it anywhere for download or purchase. Anyone know what I'm talking about and can help me find this album?

good news. a track I made with a friend back in the 90's has been licenced for a trance compilation to be released soon. DJ Anton Tumas will also be releasing a few remixes of it on his on label, so that's kinda cool. original below, but the track title is wrong, it should be Life Formation, not Evolution of Time.

Semantica Records immediately comes to mind.

I spent the last five months of my life going through 4,200 EPs from my Discogs collection I've collected over the past decade.

I then spent weeks going through the harvest & making playlists for my DJ sets by genre, etc.

I can't wait to start mixing again.

I'm going nuts, hopefully someone can help: there's a music video that I would describe as more or less techno that features time-lapse video of fungus growing in a forest, ants dying, and the fungus taking over the ants. The bass line is like a gliding farty kind of bass and the chorus starts with a little sample that says "Woo!"

I can picture everything about this video perfectly but for the life of me I can't remember that name of the artist or the song, and no matter what I google, I can't seem to conjure it. Help me goons, you're my only hope

edit: Of course 10 minutes after posting I had an epiphany. ZZT - The Worm (and I guess this is more like house than techno)
