Thought I'd share with you guys, hopefully it'll be of some interest. This is a mix by DJ RePete, best known as the resident DJ at the infamous Limelight club in NYC in the early to mid 90s. This is him spinning at an event in Brooklyn a couple of months ago. First half is old school rave/hardcore classics, second half is recent stuff. I saw him with Diggers in Miami at the Ultra afterparty a few years ago and it was incredible, then saw the two of them at Red Rocks and it was the most boring set ever, I had to leave because I felt so bad about hyping it to my friends who all spent $60 a ticket. Anybody going to the new(ish) club Output in Brooklyn this Saturday? Techno legend Derrick May will be performing, along with Lenny Dee from Industrial Strength records. Can't wait to check this one out, as well as the club itself. I've heard great things.
