FLGS yelled at distros until they got a kit, so league is back on. I got my Ret box, my buddy got his Cygnar, and hopefully I can start jamming on painting them in this long weekend.

Sad days :/ Well with carver at least it's a decision, you get the bonus to get up the board faster or you get the bonus to protect you and carver can hide and you can do both. X2 can't hide.

Played three games today for the 3rd edition release party at my FLGS. First two were against skorne and makeda 2 played by Jason Watt. Playing against him is fun, and incredibly difficult, and she is now an attrition monster to the likes of Mark2 Harbinger. We played the new scenario with a center circle and a dominate flag on the left of your side. Going second is a huge benefit here, especially if you play an attrition list, and he eventually won on scenario. I played eBaldur, Ghetto, Megalith, Wrath, Skinwalkers +ua and some stones. Second game was against a goofy wurmwood list i made. He won by assassination after a ton of mistakes on my part. That said, his bunker with ketari, caraphracts, double sentry, krea, agonizer, beast handlers, and some other sulport is a tough nut to crack. I eventually killed all his infantry, and got hits on Makeda, but my dice and some poor moves cost me. I played wurmwood, stalker, feral, stones, full reeves +ua, full skinwalkers+ua and full bloodtrackers. Last game was against a calandra army with glacier king, dhunian knot, highwayman, braylen, dhalia and skarath, krielstone and a bouncer. I took my ebaldur list and won on assassination. The wrath's gun got work done all game, and eventually won me the game after calandra toughed the last attack by Ghetorix. I locked his glacier king down with walls, his models, and stones while i just attritioned the rest of his list down. Also, my store got all it requested and more, and it was through Alliance too. I didnt even pre-order and got my circle box.

Having trouble deciding between Circle and Cygnar for my first foray into Warmahordes. I like the looks of the Circle Wolds and Reeves, but getting their battlegroup wont help with that at all. Cygnar seem to be the closest to the ideal I wanted with shooty warjacks, but again the Battlegroup is questionable progress towards that goal.

Picked up my Cygnar and Circle decks along with the Circle BB. Gonna hold off for the two player box for my Cygnar needs. Man, this is a crazy good value. My one quibble is as slick as the dark smoke gray spell tokens look, there's a practicality issue trying to use a dark wet erase on them...
